Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to deliver catering services for NFVF staff attending the Sediba Script Writing Workshop in Bloemfontein. The service aims to ensure that attendees are provided with suitable meals and refreshments throughout the workshop duration.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of catering services for approximately 40 staff members over the period from 22 to 26 June 2026 at PACOFS Down Stage, Bloemfontein. The services encompass:

• Preparation and delivery of breakfast each morning at 08h30
• Provision of lunch each day during the workshop
• Supplying specific menu items as detailed in the requirements

Technical Requirements

The service provider must:

• Provide a menu that includes breakfast items such as sandwich platters, muffins, fruit, bottled water, tea, coffee, and juice
• Offer lunch options including starch, meat, vegetables, salad, soft drinks, and bottled water
• Ensure food safety, quality, and timely delivery
• Adhere to procurement regulations, especially for items exceeding R2000.00, applying the 80/20 preference points system
• Complete all administrative and compliance documentation, including SBD forms, proof of B-BBEE status, and company registration documents

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in providing catering services for corporate or event settings
• Capability to prepare and deliver diverse menu options as specified
• Understanding of procurement and compliance procedures under South African regulations
• Ability to manage logistics and coordinate food service efficiently over multiple days
• Provision of proof for B-BBEE status and other specific goals as per PPPFA regulations
