Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to conduct comprehensive health assessments for Johannesburg Water's Executive and Senior Management team. The assessments aim to provide detailed health metrics, identify health risks, and recommend workplace strategies to promote well-being and prevent medical conditions among high-risk staff members.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing a personalized clinical health assessment lasting approximately two to three hours at an accredited facility within Johannesburg.
• Assessing 43 staff members, comprising 8 Executives and 35 Middle Managers.
• Conducting health questionnaires covering medical history and lifestyle.
• Performing pathology tests, including measurements such as circumference, BMI, ECG, and profiling.
• Carrying out functional assessments and mental health risk evaluations.
• Providing confidential individual reports and recommendations for referrals, workplace strategies, and risk mitigation.
• Engaging a multidisciplinary team of professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Dieticians, Exercise Consultants, Psychologists) with appropriate qualifications and registration details.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must:

• Offer assessments at accredited facilities around Johannesburg, with site visits if necessary.
• Ensure assessments are comprehensive, covering medical history, pathology, clinical measurements, profiling, functional assessments, and mental health risks.
• Provide qualified multidisciplinary professionals, with documented qualifications and registration particulars.
• Deliver confidential reports to participants at their own cost and recommend referrals as needed.
• Present key findings, risks, mitigations, and workplace strategies to Johannesburg Water management and board if required.
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and privacy standards, including POPIA regulations.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in conducting corporate health assessments, especially for senior management.
• Capability to assemble and deploy a multidisciplinary team of registered and qualified health professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Dieticians, Exercise Specialists, Psychologists).
• Proven ability to deliver personalized, confidential health reports and workplace health strategies.
• Knowledge of relevant health standards, accreditation requirements, and privacy legislation (POPIA).
• Strong project management skills to coordinate assessments, site visits, and reporting within specified timelines.
• Experience in working with corporate clients and understanding of high-level executive health needs.
