Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider responsible for the supply and delivery of fencing materials to the Department of Agriculture. The goal is to ensure the procurement of quality fencing materials that meet specified standards and security requirements, supporting departmental infrastructure projects and operational needs.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of a comprehensive range of fencing materials and related accessories, including:

• Barbed wire (double and single strands)
• Binding wire
• Lever block rope pullers
• Cable clamps
• Hardwood and steel droppers
• Cement

The delivery location is specified as Hendrik Van Eck, Phalaborwa Gate (Kruger National Park), Phalaborwa. The contract covers the supply of specified quantities of each material, adhering to technical specifications and quality standards outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of fencing materials as per detailed specifications, including sizes, quantities, and quality standards (e.g., galvanized, black coated, security features).
• Materials must meet minimum quality and security standards suitable for high-security fencing applications.
• Supply of additional fencing components such as hardwood and steel droppers, cement, and accessories.
• Compliance with relevant standards and specifications outlined in the tender, including galvanized and fully galvanized components.
• Submission of quotations or proposals accompanied by completed forms, company registration documents, tax compliance certificates, and other required documentation.
• Adherence to submission deadlines and submission procedures, including submission to specified email addresses and physical addresses.
• Provision of proof of B-BBEE status and compliance with procurement regulations to qualify for preference points.
