Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the International Civil Aviation Day 2025 event at Margate Airport. The services include providing qualified security officers and medical equipment to ensure safety and compliance during the event.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Provision of security officers for the event on 5th and 6th December 2025, including two officers on each day.
• Provision of medical equipment for Basic Life Support (BLS), including one ambulance with Basic Life Support capabilities on each day.
• Operational coverage from 08:00 to 18:00 each day.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Provision of security officers qualified to handle security duties during the event.
• Medical equipment must meet minimum standards for Basic Life Support (BLS).
• All medical equipment and ambulance services must comply with local health authority and transport department regulations.
• EMS services must be licensed according to the Emergency Medical Services Regulation as published in the Government Gazette of 1 December 2017.
• Vehicles used as ambulances must have valid vehicle licenses as per government requirements.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for the tender include:
