Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to source a qualified service provider to facilitate an accredited two-day First Aid Level 01 training for twenty-one CCMA employees. The training aims to enhance participants' practical First Aid skills, ensure understanding of outcomes-based education, and enable them to apply learned skills within their workplace. Additionally, the training should be of high quality, interactive, and regionally accessible, with certificates issued upon successful completion.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing face-to-face, facilitator-led First Aid Level 01 training over two days per group, including practical sessions.
• Delivering training across multiple regions in South Africa, requiring a national footprint covering offices in Gauteng, Free State, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, North-West, and KZN.
• Providing high-quality training materials and ensuring participant competence through theoretical and practical assessments.
• Generating detailed reports on learner progress and issuing valid certificates within 60 days post-training.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, including SAQA Unit Standard 119567 at NQF Level 01.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the training include:

• A detailed course outline with learning methodology for each section.
• Provision of practical, innovative, and outcomes-based training aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
• Inclusion of formative and summative assessments as part of the training process.
• Ability to accommodate learners with special needs and barriers to learning.
• Delivery of online facilitated learning sessions that are interactive and participative.
• Provision of comprehensive reports on course/workshop content and learner progress.
• Issuance of certificates valid for two years within 60 days of course completion.
• Provision of a quotation indicating the number of days and contact time required for training.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Proven track record of successfully delivering First Aid Level 01 training, supported by references and confirmation from previous clients.
• Qualified personnel with a minimum of three years of experience in conducting similar training/workshops.
• Facilitators with postgraduate (honours) qualifications are preferred.
• Short resumes demonstrating expertise, experience, and relevant qualifications of all personnel involved.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging, practical, and innovative training content aligned with SAQA standards.
• Experience in providing regional training across multiple provinces with a national footprint.
• Capability to produce detailed reports, assessments, and certification documentation.
