The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for detarping and tarping of wagons on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of twelve (12) months. The aim is to establish a reliable partnership with a service provider that can deliver efficient wagon handling services, improve current processes, and support Transnet's operational and environmental goals.
The scope involves providing detarping and tarping services for wagons at Transnet Port Terminals Richards Bay, including specific requirements outlined in Annexure A: Scope of Work. The services are to be delivered on an as-and-when-required basis over the 12-month contract period, supporting operations at the Dry Bulk Terminal (DBT) and Multi-Purpose Terminal (MPT) nationally.
