The primary objective of this tender is to supply and install an 11 kV transformer at the Cambridge Diesel Depot Substation in East London, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety, environmental, and quality requirements to support the electrical infrastructure of Transnet Freight Rail.
The scope encompasses the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an oil-immersed distribution transformer suitable for indoor or outdoor use, in accordance with relevant South African standards (SANS 780). The work includes:
