Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure reliable and high-capacity internet bandwidth services for all ACSA airports, including dedicated internet access for administrative purposes and public Wi-Fi services at select airports. The aim is to ensure seamless connectivity across all sites to support operational efficiency and enhance passenger experience.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the provision of internet bandwidth services at multiple airports, specifically:

• ACSA Administrative Internet Bandwidth at all airports, including JNB, CPT, DUR, PLZ, ELS, GRJ, BFN, KIM, and UTN.
• Public Wi-Fi Internet Bandwidth at KIM, BFN, and UTN airports.

The services include the supply, installation, and maintenance of the required bandwidth, along with associated infrastructure as necessary.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Provision of dedicated internet bandwidth with specified speeds (e.g., 20 Gbps at JNB, 10 Gbps at CPT and DUR, 5 Gbps at other sites).
• Reliable and scalable connectivity solutions to support operational demands and public Wi-Fi access.
• Provision of bandwidth on a contractual basis with options for both ongoing monthly charges and once-off costs.
• Compliance with relevant technical standards and service level agreements to ensure uptime and performance.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder should demonstrate:

• Expertise in providing large-scale internet bandwidth solutions across multiple sites.
• Experience in deploying and managing internet infrastructure in airport environments or similar high-traffic locations.
• Technical capability to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of internet services.
• Ability to deliver comprehensive support and maintenance services.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate installation, commissioning, and ongoing service delivery.
