Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a service provider responsible for the full creative development, design, and production of marketing materials for Iziko Museums of South Africa's IZIFEST 2026 campaign. The campaign aims to celebrate South Africa’s rich cultural heritage through various creative experiences, performances, and community activities during Heritage Month in September 2026.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Design and print of the IZIFEST campaign identity for both print and digital use.
• Development of digital banners in two sizes: 728x90 px and 300x250 px.
• Creation of an editable event invitation template (Canva format).
• Design and production of marketing materials including a programme flyer and A3 posters.
• Delivery of final print-ready artwork in JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must:

• Demonstrate capacity and experience in delivering similar festival, cultural, or event campaigns with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Submit a portfolio of at least 6 relevant projects.
• Provide CVs of key personnel with a minimum of 3 years' graphic design experience.
• Submit 3 signed reference letters from previous clients, on client letterhead with contact details.
• Include administrative documents such as a CSD report, detailed pricing structure inclusive of VAT, disbursements, and escalations, a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and a signed RFQ document.
• Deliver final artwork in specified digital formats.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must possess:

• Proven experience in graphic design, branding, and print production.
• Ability to develop creative campaign identities aligned with Iziko branding guidelines.
• Competence in digital design for banners and online templates.
• Strong project management skills to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
• Experience working with cultural or festival campaigns is preferred.
