Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified external service provider to conduct comprehensive Job Profiling, Job Evaluation, and Job Evaluation Training for South African Airways Technical (SAAT). The aim is to ensure effective job analysis, evaluation, and capacity building within SAAT's technical and support departments.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Conducting job profiling and analysis using relevant methodologies.
• Compiling detailed job profiles for various roles.
• Providing job evaluation training to internal staff.
• Working with at least one of the following systems: Paterson, Hay, Peromnes, or Mercer.
• Delivering onsite training and support.
• Ensuring the implementation aligns with SAAT’s operational environment.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Demonstrated experience in implementing job profiling and evaluation in regulated environments.
• Proven implementation experience with cloud readiness and scalability across multiple sites.
• Ability to provide onsite post-implementation support and SLA capabilities.
• Compliance with security and technical standards.
• Methodology that addresses organizational design, pay requirements, and large-scale implementation.

Skills Requirements

The skills and capabilities required from the service provider are:

• Expertise in job profiling, analysis, and evaluation methodologies.
• Experience working with systems such as Paterson, Hay, Peromnes, or Mercer.
• Strong project management and implementation skills.
• Ability to deliver effective onsite training to HR practitioners and line managers.
