Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from approved SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) training service providers to deliver in-house SHEQ-related training for AIDC employees. The training aims to enhance the safety, health, environmental compliance, and quality standards within the organization, supporting its developmental mandate in the automotive and allied sectors.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of various SHEQ training courses at the Automotive Supplier Park, Rosslyn, Gauteng.
• Training courses covering hazard identification, fall arrest and rescue, cherry picker operation, fall protection, incident investigation, construction regulations, storage and stacking, first aid, snake handling, fire safety, legal liability, SHE representation, and ISO 9001:2015 awareness and internal auditing.
• In-house training conducted at specified dates, with costs including travel and related expenses.
• Ensuring training is delivered by competent providers meeting SAQA standards.
• Submission of a detailed pricing schedule, with firm prices in South African Rand (ZAR), valid for at least 90 days.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Training must be conducted in accordance with SAQA standards and appropriate SAQA requirements.
• Providers must be vetted for competence before training commencement.
• All training must be delivered in-house at the specified location.
• Pricing must include all related costs, and quotes should be firm and fixed.
• Training providers must provide supporting documentation, including proof of registration, accreditation, and compliance with South African regulatory bodies.
• Delivery timelines and schedules must be adhered to, with the ability to arrange training dates upon award.

The skills requirements for service providers include:

• Proven experience in delivering SHEQ-related training, with demonstrable competence and qualifications aligned with SAQA standards.
• Ability to develop and deliver tailored in-house training programs for diverse employee groups.
• Knowledge of South African safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
• Capability to provide training that meets the specific goals of the organization, including compliance, functionality, and specific sector-related requirements.
• Competence in providing training on ISO 9001:2015 standards and internal auditing.
• Ability to supply supporting evidence of BBBEE status and meet preferential procurement targets.
