The primary objective of this tender is to procure professional training and certification support for the PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation methodology. The goal is to equip Statistics South Africa personnel with standardized project management competencies, ensuring consistent application of internationally recognized frameworks across organizational projects and improving delivery predictability, risk management, and governance.
The scope encompasses the complete delivery of PRINCE2 Foundation-level training and associated certification preparation, including:
PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments): A process-driven project management methodology widely adopted across government and private sectors. The Foundation level provides core knowledge of the method’s terminology, seven guiding principles, nine themes, and seven processes, enabling practitioners to apply the framework consistently within project environments.
Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE): A South African regulatory framework that evaluates supplier performance across ownership, management control, skills development, enterprise preference, and socio-economic development to promote economic transformation and equitable market participation.
Tax Compliance PIN / Central Supplier Database (CSD): Official identifiers issued by the South African Revenue Service and national procurement registry to verify a bidder’s tax standing and registration eligibility prior to contract award. These ensure transparency and compliance with public finance management regulations.

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.
Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements
To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting
You will need to supply your details on every tender you are interested in tendering for. For this you need an active Business Listing - Register and Login at My Account to create a Business Listing
