Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure event planning services at Kriel Power Station on an “as and when” required basis over a period of five years. The aim is to ensure effective planning and execution of events aligned with Eskom’s standards and requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of event planning services at Kriel Power Station, including but not limited to organizing, coordinating, and managing events as needed over the five-year period. The services are to be delivered on an “as and when” basis, responding to Eskom’s requirements throughout the contract duration.

Technical Requirements

Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance

• Documented QMS demonstrating compliance with ISO 9001 standards, not necessarily certified but with objective evidence of adherence.
• Submission of a quality method statement based on scope.
• Provision of an approved Quality Policy and Quality Objectives by top management.

Operational Evidence

• Documented roles, responsibilities, and authorities, including organization charts and responsibility matrices, particularly for quality management functions.
• Control processes for externally provided processes, products, and services, including evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring criteria.

Additional Customer Requirements

• Completion and signing of Form A.
• Inclusion of any other specific requirements relevant to the scope of work or specifications.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and management, particularly within industrial or power station environments.
• Understanding of quality management systems, especially ISO 9001 standards and documentation processes.
• Ability to demonstrate compliance through documented procedures and policies.
• Capability to manage external providers and ensure adherence to evaluation and monitoring criteria.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with Eskom representatives and other stakeholders.
