Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage a qualified travel agency to provide travel arrangement services for the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality over a period of twenty-four (24) months, as and when required. The service aims to facilitate efficient and reliable travel bookings and related services to support the municipality's operational needs.

Scope

The scope of the project includes the provision of comprehensive travel agency services, such as booking flights, accommodation, transportation, and other related travel arrangements. The services are to be delivered on an as-needed basis throughout the 24-month contract period, ensuring timely and cost-effective travel solutions for the municipality's staff and officials.

Technical Requirements

• The service provider must be registered and compliant with relevant travel and tourism regulations.
• The agency should demonstrate the ability to handle multiple bookings efficiently and accurately.
• Provision of reliable communication channels for travel arrangements and support.
• Ability to provide detailed itineraries, tickets, and travel documentation promptly.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in providing travel agency services, preferably within a government or municipal context.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and service providers.
• Good organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple bookings and itineraries.
• Knowledge of the Central Supplier Database registration process and requirements.
• Ability to operate travel booking systems and related software efficiently.
• Understanding of procurement procedures and compliance with PPPFA regulations.
