Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure refurbishment services for fuel oil pumps at Tutuka Power Station on an ‘as and when required’ basis over a period of 5 years. The aim is to ensure reliable operation and maintenance of fuel oil pumps, supporting the station’s operational efficiency and safety standards.

The scope includes the refurbishment of fuel oil pumps at Tutuka Power Station, with services to be rendered on an ‘as and when required’ basis for a duration of five years. The scope also encompasses compliance with environmental, health and safety, and technical standards as specified in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Refurbishment of fuel oil pumps to meet Eskom’s operational standards.
• Adherence to environmental management plans addressing medium and high risk environmental aspects.
• Implementation of health and safety management plans, including risk assessments and compliance with SHE requirements.
• Provision of detailed costing for manpower, overheads, and administration overheads.
• Compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies signed by the company’s top management.
• Technical documentation and quality assurance measures during refurbishment.
• Provision of environmental management and health & safety plans specific to the scope of work.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Technical expertise in refurbishment and maintenance of fuel oil pumps.
• Experience in environmental management and compliance with SHE standards.
