The primary objective of this tender is to identify and acquire commercially available and/or proven technology solutions for re-engineering the OPC DA (Data Access) communication protocol. This re-engineering aims to address challenges posed by recent Microsoft security changes affecting control systems that utilize the Windows operating system and are based on the OPC Classic architecture with DCOM-based communication. The goal is to ensure continued secure and reliable data exchange in control system environments where OEM support is no longer available due to business exit.
