Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of gases, along with the rental of gas-related products and equipment, to all CSIR sites. The contract is intended to cover a period of five (5) years, ensuring a reliable and continuous supply of various gases and associated products as required on an as-and-when basis.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply and delivery of a wide range of industrial, medical, and specialty gases to all CSIR sites nationwide.
• Rental of gas-related products and equipment, including cylinders, bulk tanks, and associated accessories.
• Provision of gas refilling services, transport, and cylinder auditing.
• Supply of ancillary products such as brazing materials, hoses, regulators, welding equipment, and safety gear.
• Provision of emergency services and surcharges as needed.
• Pricing schedules covering unit prices, rental costs, refilling costs, transport, and audit costs.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that bidders must provide detailed pricing for:

• Various gases including oxygen, argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, acetylene, helium, hydrogen, ethylene, methane, propane, and others.
• Gas cylinder sizes, including both refill and rental costs, with VAT included.
• Transport costs for coastal and inland deliveries.
• Cylinder audit costs per unit.
• Lead time in days from purchase order date to delivery.
• Additional services such as emergency surcharges and bulk tank rentals, with or without fire system rental.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying and managing industrial and medical gases across multiple sites.
• Ability to provide comprehensive logistics, including transportation and timely delivery.
