Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure radio advertising services to support the Revenue Enhancement Campaign for the City of Johannesburg. The successful bidder will produce and place radio adverts in multiple languages, aiming to effectively communicate and promote revenue enhancement initiatives through various radio stations over a specified period.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Production of radio adverts in IsiZulu and Sesotho.
• Booking voices for radio advertisements.
• Radio advertising across specified stations (702 FM, Lesedi FM, Radio 2000, Kaya FM, Eldos FM, Rainbow FM) for five days (Monday to Friday), during 06:00 – 18:00 slots, with 3x 30-second ads per day.
• Managing the entire campaign from production to placement, including translation and voice booking.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Production of radio adverts in English, IsiZulu, and Sesotho.
• Translation of adverts into IsiZulu and Sesotho.
• Booking of voice talents for IsiZulu, Sesotho, and English adverts.
• Placement of radio adverts in specified time slots and stations as detailed above.
• Provision of evidence of previous relevant work, including a portfolio and contactable references.
• Demonstration of experience in creative copywriting and graphic design (if applicable).
• Adherence to the campaign schedule and quality standards.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in producing radio advertisements, particularly in multilingual formats.
• Proven ability to produce creative content in IsiZulu, Sesotho, and English.
• Capability to manage voice bookings and translation services.
• Experience in managing radio advertising campaigns, including scheduling and placement across multiple stations.
• Ability to provide a portfolio of previous work with evidence of successful campaigns.
• Skills in creative copywriting, translation, and audio production.
• Capacity to project manage the campaign independently, including cash flow management.
