Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure event management training services. The training aims to equip participants with comprehensive skills in planning, logistics, financial management, stakeholder coordination, and resource management to ensure successful event delivery. The training will target 24 delegates at salary level 6 and above, spanning 3 to 5 days, and must be accredited by relevant authorities such as SETA or DHE.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Providing a detailed learning programme on Events Management, including course content aligned with SAQA standards.
• Delivering face-to-face training within Pretoria, incorporating learning materials, facilitation, assessment, moderation, and certification.
• Ensuring all logistical arrangements, including venue, security, refreshments, and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
• Managing the entire training process from registration to certification, including evaluation and reporting.
• Providing proof of accreditation and demonstrating compliance with SETA or DHE standards.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Development and implementation of a comprehensive event management training programme.
• Provision of training materials, facilitation, assessment, moderation, and certification services.
• Training must be delivered face-to-face in Pretoria, adhering to all occupational health and safety standards.
• Inclusion of media and modes of delivery suitable to achieve learner outcomes, including the use of computers or laptops.
• Compliance with supply chain management procedures, including submission of all required annexures and documentation.
• Payment structured as 75% after attendance and 25% after receipt of certificates.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Accreditation from SETA or DHE for event management training.
• Expertise in developing and delivering comprehensive training programmes aligned with SAQA standards.
• Experience in facilitating face-to-face training sessions, assessments, and moderation.
• Ability to manage logistical arrangements, including venue setup, security, and participant management.
• Proficiency in providing certification and evaluation reports.
• Knowledge of supply chain management processes and compliance with relevant procurement procedures.
