Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to render transcription and indexing services for Tribunal hearings over a period of three (3) years. The service aims to ensure accurate, timely transcription and indexing of tribunal hearing cases to support the Tribunal's adjudication, dispute resolution, and record-keeping functions.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of transcription services for Tribunal hearings, including the creation of accurate and complete transcripts.
• Indexing of the transcribed documents for easy retrieval and reference.
• Delivery of transcripts electronically within five (5) working days of the request.
• Submission of presiding officer’s transcripts electronically by 09h00 the following morning.
• Ensuring transcripts are a true and accurate record of the proceedings.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Demonstration of the ability to render transcription services, supported by relevant experience and company background.
• Provision of CVs of personnel with extensive transcription experience.
• Description of the operating system and software used for transcription services.
• Provision of relevant written reference letters from previous similar projects.
• Minimum technical (functionality) score of 65 points in the evaluation process.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Experienced personnel with extensive years of transcription expertise.
• Ability to operate transcription software and systems efficiently.
• Proven track record through references and previous project experience.
• Compliance with legal and administrative requirements, including submission of all relevant SBD forms and registration documents.
