Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver health and safety representative training, ensuring that participants understand the functions of workplace health and safety representatives and are equipped with the necessary skills through a two-day accredited training program.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing health and safety representative training accredited by US ID 259622 or relevant QCTO standards.
• Conducting training at Ffennell Road Training Centre in Johannesburg.
• Training groups of approximately 22-24 participants per group, across six groups.
• Submitting proof of accreditation, reference letters, assessment reports, and certificates post-training.
• Providing necessary equipment such as data projectors, stationery, pens, and notebooks, with costs included in the pricing.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Valid accreditation for US ID 259622 or equivalent QCTO accreditation to conduct health and safety representative training.
• Minimum of one reference letter demonstrating successful implementation of SHE Rep training.
• Assessment reports and certificates issued after training completion.
• Provision of training materials and equipment, including a data projector and stationery.
• Training duration of two days, conducted at Ffennell Road Training Centre in Johannesburg.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:
