Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to provide training on the "General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works 4th Edition GCC 2025." The training aims to ensure participants understand the updated contractual clauses, gain accreditation, and enhance their knowledge of the new GCC standards.

Scope

The scope of the training includes:

• Delivering training on all clauses from 1 to 12 of the GCC 2025.
• Providing copies of the General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works 4th Edition GCC 2025 and the Guide to the same.
• Conducting the training at the service provider’s premises within 20 km of Johannesburg.
• Including catering services (coffee, tea, lunch, and special dietary requirements as communicated).
• Training duration: 3 days.
• Providing administrative documentation such as attendance registers, feedback reports, individual certificates, and statements of results.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the training include:

• The training must be ECSA accredited with 3 CPD points, with proof of accreditation provided.
• All attendees must receive copies of the relevant contractual documents and clauses.
• The training venue must be within 20 km of Johannesburg, with proof of address (municipal account or lease agreement not older than 90 days).
• Catering must include specified menu items, with provisions for special dietary needs communicated two weeks prior.
• Training materials, attendance registers, feedback reports, certificates, and statements of results must be delivered post-training.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Proven experience in delivering contractual and construction-related training.
• Accreditation from ECSA with at least 3 CPD points, and the ability to provide proof of accreditation.
• Capability to prepare and distribute relevant contractual documentation and training materials.
• Ability to organize and deliver training at a venue within Johannesburg’s vicinity.
• Provision of catering services adhering to specified dietary and menu requirements.
• Administrative skills to manage attendance, feedback, and certification processes efficiently.
