Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver promotional items, including wireless charging cellphone stands, wooden and glass trophies, stainless steel water bottles, smart watches, and laptop bags. The aim is to procure quality promotional items that meet specified standards and branding requirements, supporting Johannesburg Water’s promotional and branding initiatives.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various promotional items as detailed in the item descriptions, quantities, and specifications. Suppliers are expected to produce samples for each category prior to acceptance, and the delivery must be made to the specified location at Turbine Hall, Newtown, Johannesburg. The contract duration is valid for 60 days from the quotation date.

Technical Requirements

• Items must conform to the descriptions provided, including brand specifications where applicable.
• Suppliers must produce one sample per category before final acceptance.
• Prices must be quoted as per the specified format, reflecting on the quotation.
• All items should meet quality standards suitable for promotional purposes.
• Suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide proof of registration.
• Complete and submit all required returnable documents, including tax clearance, BBBEE certificate, municipal rates, and other compliance certificates.

Skills Requirements

• Proficiency in supply chain management and procurement processes.
• Ability to produce and deliver promotional items as per specifications and deadlines.
• Experience in handling government or municipal tenders and compliance with procurement regulations.
• Capacity to provide samples and demonstrate product quality.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including POPIA and BBBEE compliance.
• Effective communication skills for coordination and submission of documentation.
