Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to establish a contract for the provision of services, maintenance, consumables, and spares for glassware washer machines at Eskom Petroleum Sciences (PS) laboratories over a period of five (5) years. The contract aims to ensure reliable operation, compliance with quality and safety standards, and support for laboratory operations on an 'as and when required' basis.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of service, maintenance, consumables, and spares for glassware washer machines at Eskom Petroleum Sciences laboratories.
• Delivery to specified Eskom laboratories including Rotek Oil Lab, ERIC, and others as detailed in the scope document.
• Management of service schedules, spare parts, consumables, and related technical support over five years.
• Adherence to technical, safety, health, environmental, and quality standards as specified in the detailed scope of work and associated documentation.
• Compliance with Eskom’s procurement, safety, SHEQ, and quality management requirements.
• Participation in site visits, inspections, and audits as required.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of maintenance and servicing of MIELE Professional PG 8583 and G7883C washer models, with proven experience (minimum 3 years) in servicing these models.
• Supply of consumables and spares that meet OEM specifications, with proof of shelf life (minimum 3 years) and certification (COA).
• Guarantee that consumables and detergents will have a shelf life of at least 3 years from the date of PO.
• Delivery of services to all designated laboratories within specified turnaround times (e.g., 48 hours, 72 hours).
• Provision of technical documentation, including manuals, certificates, and compliance evidence.
• Implementation of a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001 standards, including documented procedures, inspection and test plans, and sub-supplier management.
• Adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, including compliance with Eskom SHEQ policies, risk assessments, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Participation in regular meetings, reporting, and audits to ensure ongoing compliance and performance monitoring.
• Provision of qualified personnel, including welders and technicians, with relevant certifications and experience.
• Implementation of preservation, storage, and transportation procedures for equipment and materials, ensuring quality and safety during all phases.
• Compliance with local content and import regulations, including submission of declarations and supporting documentation.
• Use of approved and OEM-certified consumables, with traceability and certification (COA).
