Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a training service in Stakeholder Management and Engagement that will equip professionals with the skills to identify, analyze, and build trust with key stakeholders. The training aims to enhance the ability of teams to align divergent interests, secure project buy-in, and mitigate operational risks, thereby supporting Brand South Africa’s broader mandate to promote national reputation, social cohesion, and stakeholder engagement.

Scope

The scope involves delivering a short course on stakeholder management and engagement, culminating in an accredited NQF certificate for attendees. The training is targeted at professionals within Brand South Africa and aims to develop their capacity to effectively manage stakeholder relationships, influence key individuals and groups, and foster trust. The training should be comprehensive, practical, and aligned with accredited standards, ensuring participants can apply learned skills in their roles.

Technical Requirements

• The service provider must be accredited by SETA or QCTO for stakeholder management and engagement training. Expired accreditations will not be considered.
• The facilitator must demonstrate at least 3 years of professional experience in stakeholder management and engagement, supported by a relevant CV.
• The training must include a short course component, with an accredited NQF certificate issued upon successful completion.
• The training content should be aligned with national accreditation standards and best practices in stakeholder engagement.
• The proposal must include a detailed budget breakdown and a comprehensive scope of work.
• The delivery should be flexible to accommodate the needs of Brand South Africa’s staff and organizational guidelines.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement training, with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Accreditation from SETA or QCTO in stakeholder management and engagement.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging, practical training sessions that lead to accredited certification.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills to effectively transfer knowledge and skills to participants.
• Experience in developing training materials aligned with national standards and accreditation requirements.
• Capacity to provide post-training support or follow-up if required.
