Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure stationary supplies specifically for pay slip printing for Johannesburg Water. The goal is to ensure the provision of high-quality, secure, and compliant payslips that meet Johannesburg Water's specifications and printing standards.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of:

• 60 boxes of payslip stationery, each containing 1000 units
• Sample payslips for testing prior to mass production
• Compliance with detailed specifications for paper quality, watermarking, perforations, punching, and adhesive strips
• Delivery of the stationery to Johannesburg Water’s designated location

The scope also encompasses adherence to Johannesburg Water’s specifications, quality testing, and submission of samples before bulk production.

Technical Requirements

• Use of A4 portrait paper (210mm x 297mm) with double-sided printing
• Inside payslip: Watermark with Joburg and Johannesburg Water logos, positioned at the bottom corners
• Outside payslip: "CONFIDENTIAL" centered below the perforation, with a background pattern of small Johannesburg Water logos
• Four perforations: 53mm from top, 127mm from bottom, with perforations along the sides (12mm from each side)
• L-shaped punching above the 53mm perforation, centered between perforation lines
• Glue strip: U-shaped, inside, on the bottom part of the payslip, measuring 120mm x 210mm x 120mm, to facilitate secure closing and data transfer
• Perforated area at the top (53mm x 210mm) containing employee details, visible when closed
• Sample payslips must be provided for testing quality prior to mass production

Skills and Capabilities Requirements

• Proven experience in printing secure payslips or similar secure stationery, with references not older than 2 years
• Ability to produce stationery that meets detailed technical specifications, including watermarking, perforation, punching, and adhesive application
• Capability to provide samples for quality testing prior to mass production
• Compliance with Johannesburg Water’s quality standards and specifications
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Adherence to procurement policies, including submission on company letterhead, inclusion of all applicable taxes, and valid BBBEE certification
• Ability to deliver within the specified timeframe and to the designated location
