The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver an above-ground meter box, complete with a 114mm semi-positive plastic meter, in compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The project aims to ensure the provision of reliable metering infrastructure that meets legal and technical requirements, supporting efficient water management and billing for Johannesburg Water.
The scope includes the procurement, supply, and delivery of one complete above-ground meter box with specified dimensions and specifications. The supplier must ensure that the meters supplied comply with the Legal Metrology Act 9 of 2014, SANS 1529-1, and are approved by the NRCS. Returnables, including manufacturer datasheets, must be submitted for evaluation. The delivery must be made on time and in accordance with the specifications outlined in the tender documentation.
