Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, deliver, and install raised access flooring systems, drywall partitioning, aluminum doors and windows, and lighting installations at the Fennell Road Depot, Round Building, Telemetry Wing. The work includes all associated builders’ works, electrical works, finishes, and coordination activities, ensuring compliance with relevant specifications, standards, and statutory requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Supply and installation of raised access flooring systems with anti-static HPL finish.
• Drywall partitioning in designated areas, including materials supply, installation, and finishing.
• Installation of fire-rated aluminum glass windows and doors, including frames, handles, and locks.
• Provision and installation of suspended ceilings with white vinyl panels and additional ceiling tiles.
• Electrical lighting installations, including downlights, switches, circuit breakers, and labeling.
• All preparatory, builders’ works, electrical, and finishing activities necessary for project completion.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Drywall height: 3.2 meters, prepared with white PVA undercoat (Plascon/Dulex).
• Fire-rated aluminum glass windows: 2.5m (W) x 1m (H), with E-glazing rating, 3mm thickness.
• Aluminum doors: single/double, laminated glass panels (8mm), with handles and locks.
• Raised flooring: FS900 anti-static panels (600mm x 600mm), supported by adjustable pedestals, with skirting and ventilation steel raised floor tiles.
• Suspended ceilings: white vinyl panels (1200mm x 600mm x8mm), with frameworks, for control room, boardroom, UPS room, and passage areas.
• Lighting: LED downlights (6W), switches, circuit breakers (15A, 20A), UPS lighting, and labeling.
• All work must adhere to relevant standards, drawings, and statutory requirements, including safety and building codes.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in drywall partitioning projects, with references from projects completed within the last 2 years.
• Competence in installing raised access flooring systems, including static flooring with HPL finish.
• Proficiency in installing fire-rated aluminum windows and doors, with laminated glass panels.
• Capability to install suspended ceilings and electrical lighting systems as specified.
• Compliance with health and safety standards, and ability to coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and adherence to procurement policies.
• Provision of valid BBBEE certification or sworn affidavit, and relevant company registration documents.
