Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver 7 fine particulate dust samplers/monitors capable of measuring both PM2.5 and PM10 simultaneously. These devices will be integrated into Eskom's Air Quality Monitoring Network for a period of six (6) months.

Scope

The scope includes the procurement, supply, and delivery of 7 dust samplers/monitors that can measure PM2.5 and PM10 concurrently. The devices will be used for air quality monitoring within Eskom's network over a six-month period. The tender also encompasses related contractual, logistical, and compliance requirements as specified in the detailed documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Capable of measuring PM2.5 and PM10 simultaneously.
• Compliance with Eskom’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Labelling and cataloguing as per Eskom’s specifications.
• Provision of mandatory contractual and safety documentation, including safety, environmental, and quality management plans.
• Submission of technical evaluation criteria as per Annexure K, with a threshold score of 80% for functionality.
• Adherence to local and imported content declarations and supporting schedules (Annexures C, D, E, G2-G4).
• Compliance with Eskom’s contractual, legal, and regulatory standards, including tax, CIDB, and employment equity requirements.
• Provision of detailed pricing, delivery, and performance schedules.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Technical expertise in air quality monitoring equipment, specifically dust samplers capable of measuring PM2.5 and PM10.
• Knowledge of environmental standards and compliance procedures.
• Ability to prepare and submit detailed technical, safety, and contractual documentation.
• Experience in managing logistics, labelling, and cataloguing of technical equipment.
• Proficiency in completing and submitting compliance forms, declarations, and contractual annexures.
• Understanding of local and international content declarations and related supporting evidence.
• Capability to meet Eskom’s quality, safety, and environmental management standards.
• Skills in financial and legal compliance, including tax, CIDB registration, and employment equity.
