Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of paraffin for a period of one year, on an as-and-when-required basis, to support municipal needs within the Kumkani Mhlontlo Local Municipality.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of paraffin (Cluster 04KMHLM2025-26) across various wards, villages, and locations within the municipality. The contract duration is one year, with deliveries scheduled as required, and detailed delivery points and quantities are specified in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of paraffin in specified quantities across multiple wards and villages.
• Delivery to designated locations including Ward villages such as New Stead, Buhlungwana, Ncalukeni, Laleni, Suncity/Moyeni, among others.
• Compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards as specified in the tender documents.
• Submission of relevant supporting documents, including company profile, previous experience, and transport arrangements.
• Adherence to conditions related to personal information protection and data security as outlined in the addendum to the contract.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supply and delivery of similar goods, supported by appointment letters, reference letters, or purchase orders.
• Capability to provide transportation facilities, either owned, leased, or through agreements, with proof of arrangements.
• Qualified personnel with relevant management skills, including detailed CVs and certified qualifications.
• Understanding of and compliance with procurement policies, including preferential procurement and local content requirements.
• Ability to meet technical and administrative conditions, including submission of valid tax clearance, B-BBEE verification, and other statutory documents.
