Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of paraffin for a period of one year, as and when required, to support municipal operations within the Kumkani Mhlontlo Local Municipality.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of paraffin across various wards, villages, and locations within the municipality. The contract duration is set for one year, with the possibility of as-needed deliveries based on municipal requirements. The tender includes detailed specifications for quantities, delivery rounds, and pricing per cluster and location.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of paraffin in specified quantities across designated wards, villages, and locations.
• Delivery to the Qumbu Town Hall and other specified delivery points by scheduled rounds.
• Submission of all required supporting documents, including valid tax clearance, B-BBEE verification, and company profile.
• Compliance with the evaluation criteria, including technical capability, experience, and transportation facilities.
• Adherence to the conditions of the tender, including confidentiality and data protection under POPIA.
• Provision of proof of local content and content certification where applicable.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Experience in supply and delivery of similar petroleum products or hazardous materials.
• Capability to manage logistics and transportation efficiently, including own or leased transport.
• Qualified personnel with relevant management and technical skills, supported by certified qualifications and CVs.
• Ability to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including POPIA and local procurement policies.
• Understanding of the municipal procurement process and evaluation criteria, including preference points and specific goals.
