Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver two disabled mobile toilet trailers to the Cape Winelands District Municipality, ensuring accessibility and functionality for users with disabilities. The project aims to provide hygienic, well-equipped, and compliant mobile toilet facilities that meet specified standards and technical requirements.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of two fully functional disabled mobile toilet units, including all fitted equipment and accessories.
• Delivery of the units to the designated location at Heide Street, Paarl, within the specified timeframe.
• Registration of trailers and compliance with relevant legal and safety standards.
• Provision of necessary documentation, including brochures, references, and proof of capability.
• Adherence to specifications related to design, materials, and performance as detailed in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the mobile toilets include:

• Design suitable for wheelchair users, with accessible features.
• Cabin constructed with 40mm bonded and riveted panels to finished aluminium sections.
• Inclusion of 15mm reinforced hose pipe fittings (20m), a toolbox with spanners, and elbow touch taps.
• Features such as dispensers, skylight mirror, solar-powered LED lights, pumps, and a complete solar installation with charger and battery.
• Toilets must be flush type, hygienic, and meet all relevant health and safety standards.
• Provision for registration plates and compliance with legal registration requirements.
• Delivery within 60 days of order receipt, unless otherwise mutually agreed.

• Proven experience in manufacturing, building, or importing mobile toilet units, especially those designed for disabled access.
