The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver valves that meet specified standards and standards compliance, with a focus on supporting local manufacturing (at least 51% black-owned by Black People, including EME or QSE). The valves must be inspected during manufacturing to ensure compliance with Johannesburg Water's specifications and standards.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of various types of valves and fittings, such as:
Manufacturing must be local, and Johannesburg Water's technical team will inspect the valves during manufacturing. The scope also involves adherence to water specifications complying with SANS 815.
