Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, deliver, and off-load cleaning materials and equipment to the Mossel Bay Municipality for the period ending 30 June 2029. Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of specified cleaning products that meet quality and safety standards (e.g., SABS/SANS standards).
• Items must be new, unused, and conform to the descriptions and categories listed in the specifications.
• Items must be delivered in the specified units and quantities, with adherence to the quality and packaging standards.
• Samples may be requested for certain items prior to award, and supplied goods must comply with contract samples.

• All safety, health, and environmental regulations must be observed, including compliance with the Service Provider Health & Safety Specification.
• Pricing must be based on the provided schedule, including escalation provisions for subsequent years.

Skills Requirements

• Relevant experience in supplying and delivering cleaning materials and equipment, supported by references.
• Knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations applicable to cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to prepare and submit comprehensive technical and financial proposals in accordance with tender specifications.
• Understanding of logistical arrangements for timely delivery and off-loading.
• Compliance with health and safety requirements, including proper handling of hazardous substances and use of PPE.
• Capacity to manage and document safety procedures, risk assessments, and incident reporting as per the Service Provider Health & Safety Specification.
• Proficiency in administrative processes such as registration on the Central Supplier Database, tax compliance, and B-BBEE certification.
