Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver 750mm stackable, durable general road cones with corporate logos and reflective sleeves for Johannesburg Water. The aim is to procure high-quality cones that meet specified standards and branding requirements to support water infrastructure and safety operations.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of 500 units of 750mm general road cones, fully branded with Johannesburg Water logos and silver reflective sleeves. The delivery must include manufacturer datasheets and brand details for all items supplied. The scope is limited to businesses located within the City of Johannesburg (COJ), COJ Municipality, or Gauteng Province.

Technical Requirements

• Cones must be 750mm in height and stackable.
• Manufactured with durable materials suitable for permanent incorporation into water infrastructure.
• Cones must be permanently branded with Johannesburg Water corporate logos.
• Reflective sleeves must be silver and reflective for visibility.
• Suppliers must provide manufacturer datasheets and brand names for all items.
• Total quotation value must include all applicable taxes.
• Compliance with Johannesburg Water’s branding and quality standards is mandatory.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to manufacture or supply high-quality, durable road cones that meet technical specifications.
• Provision of manufacturer datasheets and brand details is mandatory to verify product standards.
• Suppliers should have experience in providing branded safety equipment, preferably with prior supply to municipal or water authorities.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including submission of relevant certifications such as tax clearance, BBBEE certificates, and CSD registration.
• Ability to deliver within the specified timeframe and adhere to Johannesburg Water’s procurement and branding standards.
