The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver 160mm x 6m high-impact modified Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipes, compliant with SABS 1283 standards, for Johannesburg Water. The procurement aims to ensure the availability of quality pipes for water infrastructure projects, with a focus on supporting SMMEs (EMEs or QSEs) that are at least 51% black-owned by Black People.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of 30 units of 160mm x 6m class 16 PVC pipes with SG42 yellow color, fitted with pressed-on collars, approved under SABS 1283. The pipes must meet specified technical standards and be supplied with manufacturer datasheets and brand details.
