Objectives

The primary objectives of the tender are to appoint a reputable service provider to deliver Executive Leadership Coaching Services to the Johannesburg Water executive management team. The coaching aims to:

• Assess leadership development needs and identify growth areas.
• Empower leaders to close leadership gaps.
• Enhance people management and leadership skills for improved performance and engagement.
• Support leaders in contributing effectively to the company's strategic goals.
• Improve individual effectiveness, performance, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.

Scope

The scope includes providing executive coaching services to all executives, including the Managing Director, over a minimum period of 12 months. Specific requirements include:

• One coaching session per month for each executive.
• Delivery through multiple platforms: in-person at Johannesburg Water, in-person at a provided venue, and virtual sessions.
• Provision of a panel of at least five accredited coaches with diverse expertise and experience.
• Facilitation of assessments to enhance coaching effectiveness.
• Clear articulation of coaching frameworks and approaches aligned with JW requirements.
• Submission of reference letters, CVs, accreditation proof, and evidence of executive management experience for coaches.

Technical Requirements

• The service provider must have a minimum of three years’ experience in executive leadership coaching within a corporate environment.
• The panel of coaches must be accredited by ICF or COMENSA and have at least three years’ coaching experience.
• Coaches must have at least three years’ experience in executive management roles.
• The coaching approach must be clearly described and suitable for JW’s needs.
• The provider must facilitate assessments to support coaching development.
• Coaching sessions must be available via in-person and virtual platforms.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in executive leadership coaching and corporate leadership development.
• Accredited coaches with diverse professional backgrounds and demographic representation.
• Ability to articulate and implement effective coaching frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience in conducting assessments to inform coaching strategies.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills across multiple delivery platforms.
• Demonstrated capacity to grow leaders and improve leadership effectiveness.
