Objectives

The primary objective of the tender is to construct sanitation facilities at Sikhulile Secondary School in KwaZulu Natal, including various building, earthworks, drainage, waterproofing, and associated infrastructure, in accordance with specified standards and contractual obligations.

Technical Requirements

• Adherence to JBCC Series Edition 4.1 (2005) Building Agreement and JBCC Series 2000 (2005) Preliminaries.
• Compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications, including SABS, SANS, and Occupational Health & Safety Act No. 85 of 1993.
• Use of proprietary branded products with manufacturer approval, proper handling, storage, and application.
• Implementation of approved construction methods, including earthworks, concrete, brickwork, waterproofing, roofing, and finishes.

• Preparation and submission of method statements, site instructions, as-built drawings, and safety files.
