Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable service provider responsible for installing a replacement Jojo tank and commissioning it at the Road Accident Fund's (RAF) Head Office in Block F.

Scope

The scope of work includes the installation and commissioning of a new Jojo tank at the specified location. Additionally, the service provider must adhere to technical and organisational security measures related to handling, storing, and protecting sensitive information and physical documents associated with the project.

Technical Requirements

• Installation and commissioning of a replacement Jojo tank at the RAF Head Office in Block F.
• Implementation of security measures for handling and transporting files and documents, including secure transportation systems and lockable containers.
• Storage of physical documents in lockable cabinets with controlled access.
• Provision of fire suppression systems, including fire extinguishers with carbon dioxide.
• Physical security measures such as secure perimeter, surveillance systems, controlled access points, and alarms.
• Implementation of digital security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption for digital document storage systems.
• Compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and security of data.
• Procedures for secure retrieval, tracking, and record-keeping of documents and activities.
• Incident reporting and response protocols for security breaches or incidents.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Experience in installing and commissioning large-scale storage tanks and related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security protocols for handling confidential and sensitive information, both physical and digital.
• Ability to implement and maintain physical security measures such as surveillance, access control, and secure storage facilities.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity standards, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
• Understanding of data protection legislation, particularly POPIA, and experience in compliance management.
• Capability to develop and enforce policies for secure document handling, transport, and storage.
• Strong record-keeping and activity tracking skills for document management.
• Ability to respond effectively to security incidents and breaches.
• Vetting and management of third-party service providers to ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards.
