The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a credible and competent contractor to provide heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration services for uMlalazi Municipality. The contractor will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems across municipal buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting the municipality's infrastructure needs over a three-year period.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
The work will be performed at various municipal sites, with an emphasis on urgent response and compliance with manufacturer specifications, SANS standards, and environmental regulations.
The contractor must also ensure safety standards, proper disposal of refrigerants, and maintain compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
Key personnel must be maintained throughout the contract, with substitutions only with prior written approval. The contractor shall submit a skills transfer strategy, and failure to transfer skills shall constitute a breach of contract.
