The primary objective of this tender is to upgrade the Mossel Bay Intake 66kV Substation. This involves procurement, supply, delivery, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure and refurbishment of existing facilities to enhance the substation's capacity and reliability.

The project is multi-year, ending on 30 June 2028, and includes subcontracting 7.5% of the contract to a local EME, QSE Level 1 B-BBEE registered contractor.
