Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint qualified bidders to conduct the valuation of land and buildings for the Sarah Baartman District Municipality. The aim is to ensure accurate, fair, and comprehensive valuation services to support municipal planning and decision-making.

Scope

The scope of the project includes:

• Valuation of all land and buildings within the jurisdiction of the Sarah Baartman District Municipality.
• Preparation of valuation reports in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provision of professional valuation services throughout the duration of the contract.

Technical Requirements

Prospective bidders must meet the following technical criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in the valuation of land and buildings (maximum 40 points).
• Registration of the Professional Valuer in terms of SACPVP (maximum 40 points).
• Relevant experience of the project team assigned to the valuation (maximum 20 points).

Bidders must also:

• Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Submit mandatory documents including company registration (CK), certified ID copies of directors/owners, completed MBD forms 4, 6.8, and 9, and a municipal statement of account or affidavit.
• Ensure bids are submitted only on the official municipal bid documentation, either collected physically or downloaded from the specified portals.
• Meet a minimum functionality score of 70% to proceed to evaluation.
