Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 100 boxes of IV Cannula-Jelco 25G (Safety) for Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Memorial Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal. Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the IV Cannula-Jelco 25G (Safety) include:

• Product must be a Safety IV Cannula 24G (as per the specification form).
• Must be without injection port and without wings.
• Packaged in boxes containing 50 units each.
• Product must comply with the attached specification form, including size, color, material, and safety features.
• Samples must be provided if requested, and the product must meet the quality standards specified (classified as "GOOD").
• Items must be approved by the relevant end-user (Constance Ngcobo) and meet the SABS or SANS standards.

Additional Technical and Administrative Requirements

• Bidder must provide proof that the items are SABS or SANS approved.
• Bidder must submit a valid license issued by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) to manufacture, wholesale, or distribute medical devices.
• All documentation, including the preference points claim form, declaration of interest, and compliance certificates, must be completed and submitted.
• Bidder must demonstrate capacity to deliver through previous orders or delivery notes and provide proof of financial capability.
• Product must be delivered within the agreed timeframe, with penalties applicable for delays beyond the stipulated delivery period.
