Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure environmental pollution response services and the management of dead animals at the Port of Mossel Bay for a period of 36 months. The services aim to ensure effective environmental protection and animal carcass management within the specified port area.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of environmental pollution response services to address pollution incidents at the Port of Mossel Bay.
• Management and disposal of dead animals found within the port premises.
• Services to be delivered over a period of 36 months, with detailed scope outlined in Annexure A (Environmental Pollution Response) and Annexure B (Management of Dead Animals).

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Implementation of pollution response procedures compliant with environmental standards.
• Provision of equipment, personnel, and materials necessary for pollution mitigation and dead animal management.
• Adherence to safety, legal, and environmental regulations as specified in the scope of work.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from the service provider include:
