Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Artificial Intelligence (AI) models for Data Analytics Collaboration. The aim is to enhance data analysis capabilities through advanced AI models that facilitate collaboration and improve decision-making processes.

Scope

The scope encompasses the development, delivery, and implementation of AI models tailored for data analytics collaboration. It includes providing samples if required, ensuring quality standards, and supporting integration within existing data systems. The scope also covers compliance with relevant export and import regulations, and adherence to specified delivery timelines and contractual obligations.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of new, unused AI models in accordance with specified drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Compliance with quality standards and specifications provided by Transnet.
• Delivery on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis to the designated South African destination, inclusive of all non-working days and holidays.
• Adherence to export/import licensing requirements where applicable.
• Provision of samples (if requested) in time and in proper condition for evaluation.
• Submission of translated foreign specifications if applicable, and full details of departures or variations.
• Provision of security and guarantees as required for contract fulfillment.

Skills Requirements

• Technical expertise in AI model development, particularly for data analytics applications.
• Knowledge of international standards and specifications related to AI and data analytics.
• Experience in complying with export/import regulations and licensing procedures.
• Ability to prepare and submit detailed technical documentation, including drawings and specifications.
• Capability to provide samples and support quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in understanding and translating foreign specifications where necessary.
• Competence in contractual and legal compliance within the South African legal framework.
