UMGENI-UTHUKELA WATER INVITES TENDERS FOR DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF STATE-OFTHE-ART ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 8ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 7ME
Only tenderers who a)The tenderer completed and signed the Bidders Disclosure Form (T2.2.2)
b)Tenderer completed and signed the CPG declaration form (T2.2.5). Tenderers are required to achieve at least 35% Contract
Participation Goals (CPG) including a minimum 25% enterprises from uMngeni-uThukela Water area of operations participation and
10% for Local participation of the value of goods, services and Works paid to one or more targeted enterprises in compliance with
uMngeni-uThukela Water’s B-BBEE Policy which stipulates that Contract Participation Goals for targeted enterprises will be included
for all bids above R 5 000 000.00 excluding VAT and contract price adjustment.
c)An active CIDB grading of 8ME or higher is required

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at 07 Portland Road, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg
on 02 June 2026 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
