| Briefing Date Details: | 2 Formal Briefing A compulsory pre-proposal site meeting and RFQ briefing will be conducted at CRANES W/SHOP TRANSNET PIER 2 on the 06 November 2025, at 10H00 for a period of ± 1hours. [Respondents to provide own transportation and accommodation]. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late. 2.1 A Certificate of Attendance in the form set out in Section 7 hereto must be completed and submitted with your Proposal as proof of attendance is required for a compulsory site meeting and/or RFQ briefing. 2.2 Respondents failing to attend the compulsory RFQ briefing will be disqualified. The certificate of attendance and/or the attendance register will be used as proof/evidence of attendance. 2.3 Respondents are encouraged to bring a copy of the RFQ to the site meeting and RFQ briefing. 2.4 Bidders are required to confirm their attendance and to send their contact details including the number of representatives (where applicable) to the following address: [email protected] on 031 361 6742 This is to ensure that Transnet may make the necessary arrangements for the briefing session. |

The primary objective of this tender is to procure repair services for the boom hydraulic ram 524 of Liebherr STS Crane 524 at Transnet Port Terminals. The repair aims to replace worn and damaged seals to eliminate leakage, restore full operational functionality, and ensure the hydraulic ram performs effectively without pressure loss or leakage.
