DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WESTERN CAPE INVITES TENDERS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, SERVICE AND REPAIR OF
MECHANICAL SYSTEMS FOR 24 MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Please note:
1.Tenderers are required to have a CIDB grading of 2ME or higher (Grade 2: Mechanical Engineering Works).
2.Tenderers need to be compliant and registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank, CSD and on ePS. Tenderers need to
be compliant with the above and tax-compliant with SARS on the closing date.
3.Prices shall be submitted electronically on ePS.
4.Tenderers need to be represented by one employer/member (to accommodate interested Tenderers) at the “compulsory site meeting”
on the date and time stipulated.
5.Tenderers not present at the site meeting will not be eligible to tender.
6.Tenderers must print the attached tender document, inclusive of the BOQ and specifications and bring it to the site meeting.
7.ePS Commodity: 2ME or higher (Grade2: Mechanical Engineering Works).
8.Tenderers to have a registered office and workshop within 100km radius from George Pathology Laboratory.
9.Tenderers to have a Category B6 SAQCC Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Practitioner with a minimum 5 years’ practical experience
in their employ to service and repair of air conditioning & ventilation systems and who is registered in the tenderer’s company name.
10. Tenderers who arrive late at the compulsory site meeting will be disqualified
