ALFRED NZO DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR MATATIELE WARD 4 WATER SUPPLY REFURBISHMENT
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Contractors to submit bids
Only tenderers who Bids are invited from suitably qualified Contractor to submit Bids to undertake the implementation of the Matatiele
Ward 4 Water Supply Refurbishment within the Alfred Nzo District Municipality. The scope of work entails equipping borehole,
construction of a rising main and reticulation network including communal standpipes and associated valves. The following gives a high
level indication of the scope and extent of works to be undertaken;
•Construction of borehole pump station building;
•Equipping of borehole with pump, mechanical and electrical equipment;
•Fencing of borehole pump station and provision of access gates;
•Construction of 1420m of 75 mm diameter uPVC rising main pipeline ranging from class 12 to 16 from the borehole to the proposed
village service reservoir;
•Construction of 100kl service reservoir;
•Construction of 3930m of reticulation pipelines ranging between 160mm diameter and 50mm diameter;
•Construction of communal standpipes;
•Install flow limiters, and
•Installation of Isolation, air and scour valves.

1400 Ntsizwa Street, EMaxesibeni, 4735. Payments for Bid Documents must be done on our Municipal Offices (Revenue) at Reception
or through Bank deposit at First National Bank, Account Number 62024932974 and Branch Code 210821. All bidders are required to
attach the proof of payment receipts on their document when submitting.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at ANDM Water & Sanitation (Matatiele) on 08
June 2026 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 10h00 on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
