ALFRED NZO DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR MATATIELE WARD 6 WATER SUPPLY REFURBISHMENT
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Contractors to submit bids
Only tenderers who Bids are invited from suitably qualified Contractor to submit Bids to undertake the implementation of the Matatiele
Ward 6 Water Supply Refurbishment within the Alfred Nzo District Municipality. The scope of work entails equipping borehole EC-T331401, construction of a rising main, and ensuring full operational readiness through electrical integration, ancillary installations, and
commissioning. The intervention is structured as a single-phase execution to accelerate delivery, reduce administrative overheads, and
align with the annual WSIG funding cycle. The following gives a high level indication of the scope and extent of works to be undertaken;
•Construction of a borehole pump station building;
•Supply and Install Water Treatment equipment that would involve bag filters and a chlorine dispenser; (Chlorine dispenser to handle
7,4l /s);
•Fencing of the borehole pump station and provision of an access gates;
•Construction of rising main pipeline to terminate at the existing 100K reservoir;
are eligible to submit tenders.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R500.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.

1400 Ntsizwa Street, EMaxesibeni, 4735. Payments for Bid Documents must be done on our Municipal Offices (Revenue) at Reception
or through Bank deposit at First National Bank, Account Number 62024932974 and Branch Code 210821. All bidders are required to
attach the proof of payment receipts on their document when submitting.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at ANDM Water & Sanitation (Matatiele) on 09
June 2026 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
